At Short Creek Dream Center, our motto is “We Get to Serve” the people of Hildale and Colorado City.
Residential Support
The Short Creek Dream Center offers the services of a 40-bed residential support center. Here we house and walk alongside people who are experiencing a wide variety of life changing events. This includes but is not limited to substance abuse recovery, crisis intervention, life skills development and more.

When we first acquired the 44-bedroom house we knew that it needed to be completely renovated. The house itself carried with it a lot of painful memories for the community and we wanted to.
Programs Designed
for Healing
Our Recovery Center is equipped to help people achieve healing and restoration. We help people from all walks of life. For example, we often help people in the following scenarios:
- Escaping domestic violence
- Recovering from substance abuse
- Overcoming homelessness
- Healing from trauma
- Developing crucial life skills and more.
Community Outreach
At the Short Creek Dream Center we participate in a wide variety of community outreach. This includes planning and hosting events, assisting people in the community with household projects, and more.
Local Events
At the Short Creek Dream Center we participate in a wide variety of community outreach. This includes planning and hosting events and fun activities for people in the Short Creek Community. Community Projects
At the Short Creek Dream Center we participate in a wide variety of community outreach. This includes assisting people in the community with household projects, community service, and more. To request assistance with a project please fill out our Project Request Form.
City Help Center Food Bank
The Short Creek Dream Center operates the City Help Center Food Bank which helps provide critical food resources to over 1500 people in the Short Creek area. This includes over 100,000 pounds of food monthly.
Learning Center
The Short Creek Dream Center recently remodeled one of the houses on the premises. It is now the location of a learning center where we help close the gap in access to learning resources and empower people to further their education.
Obtain Your GED
The Short Creek Dream Center offers education services through its learning enter including the ability to get your GED.
Life Skills Training
At the Short Creek Dream Center Learning Center we oftentimes offer various life skills training and help with things such as resumes and filling out job applications.

Children’s Summer Camp
